Wasp Spray or Pepper Spray?

Bear Spray
An alternative to wasp spray is bear spray, available at WalMart for around $30. Some brands have a range of 30 feet, have a spray duration of 9 seconds and are useful for multiple bear attacks.
Escalation of force
If a vision impaired and disoriented attacker persists after being hit with wasp or bear spray, more persuasion can be administered with a baseball bat. Keep a bat nearby and aim for the knees to allow your escape. If a bat is too big of a tool to carry, a ball peen hammer is a smaller option.
